I am seeking permanent employment with an institution which has an overseas contract or contracts. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experience the many different facets that life has to offer.

I have been in food & beverage for over twenty-five years. I have been a manager and a GM in several venues. I am experienced in wine sales, fine dining, menu development,budgets, P & L statements,projections, marketing & sales strategies, purchasing and inventory, etc.

I bought my first business (Good Moves Delivery Service) at the age of twenty-eight and sold it eight years later and moved to the Caribbean. As a business owner I developed a strong interest in sales & marketing strategies along with PR skills.

Past duties included daily financial reports, involved in food preparation and presentation, customer/assoc. relations, FOH training, supervision of servers & cooks, opening & closing procedures, hiring & firing, etc. Implemented the first computer tracking of daily & monthly revenues in St. Thomas with Microsoft excel.
As GM in SXM I was directly responsible for all daily operations of the restaurant, P&L statements financial reports, payroll, and purchasing and inventory control, etc. I oversaw three Heineken Regatta parties which involved over 5,000 individuals daily in & out of the restaurant. I developed the party menus, implemented the food and beverage orders, setting up temporary bars, extra hiring, etc. resulting in daily revenues over $40k, along with four aircraft carriers per year which resulted in revenues of up to $30k per day with up to 3,000 sailors daily. I was directly involved (developed and promoted) in over 125 promotions from pool tournaments to a ‘Miss Hawaiian Tropic’ contest. As an average our liquor cost was 16% and food ran between 28-30%.

I enjoy my time off by reading, cooking, golfing and scuba diving when available. My hard work and dedication is an asset to all those that I work with.
